Join TCNJ's School of Science interim dean and faculty as they share how scientific modeling can predict trends in the Coronavirus pandemic. Jana's original research on mathematical modeling to control the spread of the virus, as it pertains to social distancing and quarantining, will be explained. Joe's molecular modeling research, conducted on TCNJ's supercomputer ELSA, improves our understanding of how the virus invades our cells. The panelists will also discuss how computer simulation is changing the future fight against contagious diseases. This webinar is sure to be thought provoking and informative while giving a glimpse into the future of disease prevention.
